Discipleship

People often say, "Every-day life is the hardest!" Sundays are exciting and encouraging, we are resting and praising God with enthusiasm. Come Monday morning and the enthusiasm dwindles.

 

We are all broken and lost and on a journey to wholeness. We are also new creations in Christ and live with the constant tension of who we are and who we are becoming. However, some are a bit further down the road than others. In the letter to Titus in the Bible, Paul writes that the older women should teach the younger.

 

I am passionate about discipleship, and love to encourage, uplift, and inspire others, especially Christians to step up in their faith and live in a more intimate relationship with God, just as I need the encouragement of the people who inspire me. As a young woman, it was the love and dedication of others, with the grace of God that helped me to overcome depression and to step fuller into the identity of a beloved daughter of God.

The teachings are based on the study book, Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby. It is also the study book that I use in my weekly discipleship group who meets in my house.

I am also a piano teacher and you can find the step-by step interactive online courses, Keys to Confidence and Master your Keys in Loved2Love Piano School. Students are also invited to the monthly Christian discipleship meetings mentioned above.

 

I hope to round  songs off in a collection for an album in the next few years. It has been quite a journey to release the music in me. It was a painful and slow process to submit to His plans and to surrender my ambitions and vision to the faithful One.
